Ilan Galitsky is an associate at the firm, where he focuses on the acquisition, sale, financing and leasing of retail, industrial, office and multifamily properties across the country. Ilan’s practice includes negotiating retail, office, and industrial leases on behalf of landlords and tenants, conducting due diligence in connection with property purchases and sales, and preparing purchase and sale agreements and other conveyance documents.
Prior to joining the firm, Ilan served as a Portfolio Manager at a private equity real estate firm specializing in various asset classes including shopping centers and main street retail. As the principal point of contact for leasing across the firm’s Connecticut retail portfolio, Ilan oversaw tenant relations, revenue optimization, and all phases of tenant underwriting, risk analysis and lease negotiation.
Before transitioning to real estate, Ilan was a litigation attorney at one of the largest law firms in the country.
Having represented ownership interests throughout the leasing and asset management lifecycle, Ilan brings a practical, business-oriented perspective to his practice.
Ilan is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. A proud “Double Cane,” he earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Miami and his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.
