Chris counsels clients on a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing and financings. Chris represents landlords and tenants in negotiating and drafting leases for office, retail and industrial space and buyers and sellers of commercial properties, including retail, industrial and office projects. Chris’ experience includes preparing all types of commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, conveyance documents, easement and restriction agreements, corporate governance documents and the performance of substantive due diligence review of matters incidental to title, survey and leases.

Prior to joining the Firm, Chris spent five years working for a publicly traded real estate investment trust based in New York City. By the time he left to attend law school, Chris was the Assistant Property Manager of its 600,000 square foot flagship Class-A Madison Avenue office building with ground floor retail. Chris oversaw the daily operations of the property, working closely with the leasing and accounting departments to manage the property’s capital and operating budgets, and also coordinating with prospective office and retail tenants and their brokers. Chris also oversaw the day-to-day operations of all construction projects at the property, ranging from base building capital improvement projects to multi-million dollar tenant build-outs, working closely with engineers, architects and general contractors from project inception through completion and sign-off. Chris’ on-site construction and operational real estate experience provide him with a holistic perspective of the needs of commercial landlords and tenants.

Chris is a graduate of Syracuse University and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where he graduated with a concentration in real estate.
